Call to Celebration
Christ our Savior is risen from the dead! Alleluia!
Break forth into joyous celebration! God comforts all who seek him.
We, who once suffered in death; we, who once cried in despair –
now we know victory over death! Now we know joy over despair!
For God has raised Christ from the grave; the tomb is empty and
death has been defeated once and for all..
Hymn
of Praise “ He
Lives” No. 310
1. I serve a risen Saviour; He’s in the world today. I know that He is living, whatever men may say.
I see His hand of mercy, I hear His voice of cheer, And just the time I need Him He’s always near.
Chorus:
He lives! He lives! Christ Jesus lives today!
He walks with me and talks with me along life’s narrow way.
He lives! He lives! Salvation to impart!
You ask me how I know He lives? He lives within my heart.
2. In all the world around me I see His loving care, And though my heart grows weary I never will despair. I know that He is leading, thro’ all the stormy blast;
The day of His appearing will come at last.
Chorus
3. Rejoice, rejoice, O Christian! Lift up your voice and sing Eternal hallelujahs to Jesus Christ, the King!
The Hope of all who seek Him, the Help of all who find, None other is so loving, so good and kind.

Opening Prayer
Call to Confession
Prayer of Confession & The Lord’s Prayer
Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be Thy name.
Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done on earth, as it is in heav’n.
Give us
this day our daily bread, And forgive us our trespasses,
as we forgive those who trespass against us. And lead us not
into temptation, but deliver us from evil: for Thine is the
kingdom, and the power, and the glory, forever. Amen
Words of Grace
*Hymn “My Hope Is Built” No. 368
1. My hope is built on nothing less than Jesus’ blood and righteousness. I dare not trust the sweetest frame, but wholly lean on Jesus’ name.
Refrain:
On Christ the solid rock I stand, all other ground is sinking sand; all other
ground is sinking sand.
2.
When darkness veils his lovely face, I rest on his unchanging grace. In every
high and stormy gale, my anchor holds within the veil.
(Refrain)
3.
His oath, his covenant, his blood supports me in the whelming flood. When all
around my soul gives way,
he then is all my hope and stay. (Refrain)
4.
When he shall come with trumpet sound, O may I then in him be found! Dressed in
his righteousness alone,
faultless to stand before the throne! (Refrain)
