Psalm 139 is a psalm which combines both praise and wonder. God knows us, but can we really know God? If God is unchanging, can, does and should our perception of God change as we grow and change or as the world we live in changes?
When it comes to God, the truth is, we do not know it all, we cannot know it all, we will not know it all, not until we see God face to face, when our time on earth is passed. But we do know this, the way to learn more about God is through a relationship with The Almighty. Such a relationship starts with the awareness of God’s gracious presence in our lives. One of the ways we can be more aware of God is through the sacraments or sacred moments in the life of the church. For Christians, Holy Communion is one such moment, which we refer to as a means of grace (God’s favor, which is not earned or deserved, but is a gift from God).
In the United Methodist Church all are welcome to partake of Holy Communion at the Lord’s Table.
This Sunday, June 2, 2024 at 9:00 am. (and every first Sunday of the month), we participate in this time in which we remember Christ’s sacrifice, celebrate His presence among us and look to the future when God’s Kingdom shall reign “On Earth as it is in Heaven”. There is a place at the table of grace for everyone. We hope to see you there
