Our Part Food Program

The Our Part Food Program was established in October 2015 by the Green Creek Bethel United Methodist Church to help combat hunger in Cape May County, New Jersey. The program provides food for children for the weekend when school meals are unavailable. Since its inception, the program has provided over 28,000 bags of food for children in need. We anticipate distributing 5,000+ bags during the 2024-2025 school year. Currently, we are servicing over 170 students per week. The average cost per bag is $8.00. The program now serves qualifying students in pre-school through sixth grade among four local elementary schools.

The program’s success is made possible with the community’s support, including individuals, school staff, local churches and businesses. The program is accomplished through the efforts of volunteers. There are no administrative costs/fees, so 100% of contributions directly benefit the children.

Food Pantry

Green Creek Bethel United Methodist Church’s Food Pantry serves as an emergency source of food for individuals and families in need. We provide a bag of non-perishable food items intended to cover a few days of meals while another food source or longer-term assistance is arranged.

If you need assistance, please leave a message at (609) 889-0474, and a member of our team will contact you to make arrangements for picking up a bag of food.

K-9s for Warriors

https://k9sforwarriors.org/about/

K9s For Warriors serves our Veterans as honorably as they served their country. Their lifelong program is provided to Warriors at no cost and is designed to deliver maximum benefit with minimum administrative costs. They are proud that generous supporters trust them to do the right thing with their contributions, and they have received widespread recognition for their stewardship. Impacting the lives of Veterans will always be their greatest reward. Their continued participation in the program is the only validation we need.
